Authentication & Identity Provider¶
- Dunelm uses Azure for SSO authentication
- Palm opening up new authentication beyond Google Workspace
Bank Account Structure & Data Integration¶
- 12 automated accounts: 9 Barclays (Dunelm) + 3 Sunflex
- Priority accounts: current account, deposit account (overnight sweep target), revenue collection account
- Data delivery: MT940 format via Access Pay; preferred order: API > SFTP > Email > Manual
- Additional low-volume accounts (RBS, Santander) initially handled via spreadsheet
Cash Management Structure¶
- Zero Balance Accounts (ZBA) with one deposit account per currency (GBP, EUR, USD)
- Simple overnight sweep into deposit accounts
- Surplus cash split across member banks — overnight deposits only
- Seasonal: cash generative around Christmas
- RCF facility utilized ~10 months/year (not used during Christmas period)
Historical Data & Categories¶
- Historical data from January 2024 onwards needed (available in Excel)
- Revenue channel granularity needed: PayPal, credit, card, cash payments
- AI categorization based on vendor names and transaction descriptions
Onboarding Process¶
- Phase 1: Historical data analysis and cash flow review
- Phase 2: Category design workshop
- Phase 3: Workspace creation and data import
- Phase 4: 2-week AI training with manual corrections
- Phase 5: Platform walkthrough and weekly support calls
- Contract going to committee tomorrow (should be smooth)
