Summary¶
Product Updates & Improvements¶
- Treasury spring data fully ingested and modeled as investments (principal, fees, interest, maturities)
- Short-term report migrating to dedicated investment page in 1-2 weeks
- Forecast improvements for receipts: incorporating PayPal transaction details (current limitation: bank shows single daily PayPal payment, missing currency breakdown)
- Duplicate transaction issue recurred — references changing in files despite same reports; improving duplicate detection beyond reference matching
- Major app UI/UX updates launched: forecast overview redesign with drill-down (entity, bank account, cash pool, currency), interactive graphs
- New category mapping control for bank accounts — users can add/remove categories without requesting changes
- Cash positions page now shows overdraft risk warnings and recommends adding FX trade maturities
Self-Serve Dashboard Training¶
- Built sample dashboard with 3 components:
- KPI card: yesterday's closing cash balance (with currency symbol and decimal formatting)
- Grouped bar chart: forecasted outflows by currency (filter by "is last active forecast = true")
- Pivot table: daily closing balances last 7 days (entity/bank account hierarchy)
- Key usability feedback: required fields not clearly marked, filter importance not obvious but critical
Next Steps¶
- Art to present forecast modeling session next week
- Stephanie to invite Bill to attend forecast session
- Address UK tax forecasting timing issue with Art
- Continue improving duplicate detection system
